Seriously, this is how I found out that our very own Schedule Builder was going to be expanded to include an improved class search.
This will be a partnership with ASR, OIT, and the MyU Portal team, but Kendrick will be making it all hang together and work. The immediate goal is replicating the search capabilities we had before the “Upgrade,” followed by usability testing to ensure that it works well for everyone. One challenge will be to come up with an interface that works on mobile platforms, like phones or tablets. However, our Office of Application Development here in UGE has solved harder problems, so I am confident that they can come up with something we will all be comfortable using.
I know some of you may hope to find your enhanced Schedule Builder capabilities under a tree this weekend, but this was ordered after Santa had already locked down production for 2016. We'll all have to wait a little longer.
